Terms of Service

By registering an account, accessing, or using the Lumensic platform (“Service”, “Platform”, or “We”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind such entity to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue platform access immediately.

You must be at least 16 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (whether via Google OAuth or password hashes).

• Account credentials may not be shared across multiple individuals or external unauthorized parties.
• You must notify Lumensic support immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach.

You retain 100% full ownership over all content created on Lumensic. This includes text content, work experience histories, uploaded profile pictures, signature graphics, generated LaTeX code, and exported PDF resume files.

Lumensic does not claim copyright or intellectual property rights over your personal career documents. We access your document data solely as necessary to render previews, run AI refining requests (when explicitly initiated by you), and deliver PDF exports.

Templates featured in our catalog are provided under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) or custom open-source licenses unless otherwise explicitly marked as Pro Exclusive.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to edit, customize, compile, and download resumes using any template available to your tier. Redistribution or re-selling of bare template code files as standalone products is strictly prohibited.

You agree not to engage in any of the following restricted activities:

Paid subscriptions (Plus & Pro) are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis depending on your selected billing cycle. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay or Stripe.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account Billing Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; cancellations remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Refund requests submitted within 7 days of subscription activation are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

While Lumensic strives for 99.9% uptime across compiler nodes and document servers, service may occasionally be interrupted for scheduled maintenance or infrastructure updates. We issue advance notifications for planned maintenance whenever possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumensic and its parent entity DigantaLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost job opportunities, ATS system failures, or data loss.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material revisions will be notified via email or an in-app banner at least 14 days prior to taking effect. Continued platform usage after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
